Upfront costs, no surprises
Las Vegas Apartment Move-In Costs
To move into a Vegas Value Living apartment you pay first month’s rent, a security deposit equal to one month’s rent (negotiable), and a $50 application fee per adult. On our $900 Bonanza studio that’s about $1,850 upfront for a single applicant. There are no broker fees — add a $200 refundable pet deposit only if you have a pet.
What goes into your move-in cost
Four line items — and only the first two apply to everyone. This is the whole list.
First month’s rent
Paid at signing. Starts at $900 for a Bonanza studio and $950 for a Maryland 1 BR. This is your rent, not an extra fee.
Security deposit
One month’s rent, and it’s negotiable. Refundable after move-out, minus any itemized deductions.
Application fee
$50 per adult applicant. Section 8 voucher holders pay no application fee at all.
Pet deposit (if applicable)
$200 refundable pet deposit plus $20 per month per pet, one pet per unit. Skip this line entirely if you don’t have a pet.
No broker fees. No finder’s fees. No agent commission. We lease direct.

How much do I need to move in to a Las Vegas apartment?
At Vegas Value Living, plan for first month’s rent plus a security deposit equal to one month’s rent, plus a $50 application fee per adult. On our lowest unit — a $900 Bonanza studio — that’s about $1,850 to move in for a single applicant. There are no broker fees.
What is the security deposit?
The security deposit is one month’s rent and it’s negotiable. For a $950 Maryland 1BR the deposit is $950; for a $900 Bonanza studio it’s $900. It’s refundable, subject to the condition of the unit at move-out.
Is there an application fee?
Yes, $50 per adult applicant. Section 8 voucher holders pay no application fee.
Do you charge broker fees or finder’s fees?
No. We’re owner-operated and lease direct, so there are no broker fees, finder’s fees, or agent commissions added to your move-in cost.
What does it cost to move in with a pet?
